Linux Lite team announced the latest version of their operating system Linux Lite 3.6 Beta, featuring XFCE desktop environment and features several package updates as well as improvements to the look and contrast of several components: “Lite Sources – A new application for Linux Lite. Lite Sources is a repository selector for Linux Lite created/branded applications… Lite Sources does not include Ubuntu repositories or software. This is only for Linux Lite created applications eg. Lite Software, Lite Welcome, Lite Tweaks etc. New Search engine for the Help Manual – The Linux Lite Help Manual has received the long awaited search engine. This is the culmination of four free software projects rolled into one. The search engine has been designed in such a way that the end result produces an easy to understand UI.
