Linux Lite 5.0 Emerald VM Images Available for VirtualBox and VMware

Linux Lite team announced the latest version of their operating system Linux Lite 5.0 Emerald, featuring XFCE desktop environment and changes: “UEFI is now supported out of the box. It is recommended that you disable Secure Boot even though it will work, it’s just a huge hassle to have it enabled. GUFW has been replaced by the highly configurable FireWallD (disabled by default). Latest WhiskerMenu with new default sort. Easy to use, HiDPI Settings in the Settings Manager, Hardware section with handy information. Mousepad replaces Leafpad. New Logout options, and the ability to hide or show them via Lite Tweaks. Lite Welcome (shortcuts now work) and Lite User Manager now updated to GTK3 and Python3. 3 new options on the Welcome screen: Select Dark or Light Theme, UEFI & Secure Boot, Feedback…” You can find complete release announcement here.
